Mautstraße - Ticketregelung

The Postalm Winter Park is easily accessible via two well-developed mountain roads – from Strobl and Abtenau. The scenic routes offer a varied drive and are suitable for both cars and buses up to 14 tons.

Depending on the ticket, there are different regulations for using the toll road. The simplest option for skiers is to purchase an online day ticket, which is €5 cheaper than the day tickets bought on-site. With this ticket, you can pass through both toll stations without any additional costs.

Which ticket is also valid for the ascent?

Toll and ticket regulations via Strobl

The 12-kilometer long mountain road is included in every Winter Park ticketSimply present your online ticket, season pass, or voucher at the ascent. Alternatively, you can also purchase your ticket directly on-site.

Toll and ticket regulations via Abtenau

Skiers with a season pass or day ticket

The 14-kilometer mountain road is already included in the ski tickets "season pass" and "day ticket." When scanning your online ticket, season pass, or pick-up voucher, the barrier will open automatically. If you prefer to purchase your ticket at the Postalm ticket counter, you will need to pay the toll fee upfront. Upon presenting the receipt, you will receive a partial refund of the toll (5 € per person, up to 10 € per car).

Skiers with an hourly ticket

When purchasing the ski hourly ticket online, the ascent via Abtenau is not included. Therefore, we recommend buying your hourly ticket on-site. Upon presenting the toll receipt, you will receive a partial refund of the toll fees (5 € per person, up to 10 € per vehicle) at the Postalm ticket counter.

Cross-country skiers

For cross-country skiers with a season pass: Free passage via Abtenau – simply show your season pass and drive through. Day visitors for cross-country skiing pay the toll fee per car at the toll station (17 €). The receipt entitles one person to use the cross-country ski trails on the Postalm. Any additional person can purchase a discounted cross-country ticket at the Postalm ticket counter for half price (5 € instead of 10 €).

Snowshoers, winter hikers, and nature tobogganers

The toll fee is 17 € per car and is paid at the toll station. At the Postalm ticket counter, up to 5 € per person, with a maximum of 10 € per vehicle, can be refunded upon presenting the receipt. Please make sure to keep and show the receipt.

Parking lots

The Postalm Winterpark parking lots are located right next to the lift area. This means: park - get out, buy your ticket and head straight into the winter fun. The parking fees are included in the ticket price.

Skibus

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I do if I want to buy my ticket at the lift ticket office at the top instead of online? How can I pass the gate for road access in this case?

Kein Problem!

How does road access (gate) work with a season or multi-day pass for alpine skiing or cross-country skiing?

With a season or multi-day pass for alpine skiing or cross-country skiing, you can pass through the toll gate on the days your pass is valid. Simply scan your lift ticket or keycard at the machine at the gate to open it.

I want to go hiking, natural sledding, or ski touring. Do I have to pay for road access myself in that case?

Your ticket for winter hiking, natural sledding, or ski touring always includes the road access via Strobl, meaning you can use this route without any additional toll costs. If you arrive via Abtenau, you will need to pay the road toll yourself. However, you can get a refund of €5 per person, up to a maximum of €10 per day, at the lift ticket office. Please keep the receipt and bring it with you to the ticket office.
